Everimpact will work with the EU Synchronicity consortium and the Herning Municipality to build a smart city platform to monitor emissions from the waste sector. The resulting smart city application is a cross-domain platform, that solves waste management challenges by gathering data from IoT-enabled devices, analyzing the data with smart algorithms, and generating and presenting insights for the city. Herning will now engage with its citizens around economic, environmental and social benefits within CO2 and Solid Waste production.
