Financial and Administrative Manager (FAM)

About the Role


As our Financial and Administrative Manager (FAM), with direct reporting to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in steering Everimpact's financial strategy during a critical period as we embark on a Series A fundraising round. We are seeking a dynamic FAM to support us in reaching Series A and structuring the Finance function. 


Your responsibilities will encompass:


  • Successfully integrate a newly acquired company and a branch in Japan into the finance strategy and systems (accounting and ERP).

  • Elaborate the business plan to launch a CO2 nanosatellite constellation.

  • With direct reporting to the CEO, forge partnerships with key stakeholders to shape and implement financial strategies.

  • Directed financial planning, reporting, and analytical processes to bolster decision-making for the CEO.

  • Manage financial risks and maintain adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Play a pivotal role in fundraising and maintaining investor relations together with the CEO.

  • Coordinate administrative and financial operations.

  • Maintain legal and regulatory compliance for sound financial management.

  • Manage cash flow and oversee the creation of financial forecasts and budgets.

  • Implement and fine-tune management procedures and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Provide detailed reports to Management and analyze monthly financial statements.

  • Verify accounting records and manage bank reconciliations.

  • Oversee the monthly financial status and assist with the annual account closing.

  • Mentor and develop the administrative team's skills.

  • Supervise supplier payments and customer follow-ups.

  • Conduct regulatory monitoring to stay current with changes.

  • Work closely with HR to process and validate payroll.

  • Collaborate with accounting firms for financial matters.

  • Participate in financial consolidation activities.

  • Ensure the accuracy of financial information, adhering to shareholder expectations and legal and fiscal duties.

  • Respect and implement legal regulations in accordance with the company's growth.

  • Execute management control functions.

  • Perform administrative tasks related to the administration of the company, to support the company founders.


The role is based in Copenhagen in the same office as the CEO. You will be working closely with the CEO and with other Everimpacters who work in our Paris and Tokyo hub. 


About You


The ideal candidate will bring:


  • Proven experience in a similar role or senior finance role

  • Preferably 5 years experience.

  • A solid understanding of startup dynamics and fundraising processes.

  • Expertise in financial planning, fundraising, and risk management.

  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach.

  • Relevant educational background, preferably in finance or a related field

  • Bonus points if you have some experience with French accounting

  • Also a bonus if you experience with startups and the Odoo ERP
